These infections may include genital tract infections, urinary tract infections, and gastrointestinal infections, including diarrhea, dysentery, peritonitis, and appendicitis.\u003cbr>\u003cbr>This medicine helps clear up the infection by stopping the bacteria from multiplying and growing. In most cases, the infection starts showing improvement within 3 to 5 days of regular dosing. However, you must still finish the full course of the medicine. Stopping it abruptly may worsen your child?s condition or cause infection recurrence.
Abicon Oral Suspension is an antibiotic medicine that is effective against a wide range of bacterial and parasitic infections. In children, it is used to treat infections of the urinary and gastrointestinal tract. Give Abicon Oral Suspension to your child orally, with food, preferably at a fixed time. Giving it with food helps prevent the risk of developing a stomach upset. Always give the dose as prescribed by the doctor since that depends on the severity and type of infection, body weight, and age of your child. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of intake, repeat the same dose but never double up the dose if it is time for the next dose.Some children may develop minor and temporary side effects after taking Abicon Oral Suspension. These include nausea, vomiting, metallic taste, headache, loss of appetite, abdominal cramps, red-brown urine, and mild skin rash. These side effects usually go away once your child?s body adapts to the medicine. However, in case they persist for long or start bothering your child, you must consult your child?s doctor without any delay.Your child?s doctor must be aware if your child has ever had any previous episode of allergy, heart problem, blood disorder, liver impairment, and kidney malfunction. This will guide the doctor in planning your child?s overall treatment.

Abicon Oral Suspension is a combination of two antibiotics: Nalidixic Acid and Metronidazole. Nalidixic Acid works by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria. Metronidazole kills parasites and anaerobic bacteria that cause infections by damaging their DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Abicon Oral Suspension is to be taken with food.
