It reduces swelling and redness at the affected area. Betzee S Cream also prevents any kind of infection at the affected area, especially if those areas are frequently touched or scratched. Apply 1-2 times a day or as prescribed by your doctor. You might see an improvement in your skin after 2 to 3 weeks of treatment.
Betzee S Cream is a prescription medicine having a combination of medicines that is used to treat eczema and psoriasis. It provides relief from redness, itching and swelling. Betzee S Cream is a combination of three medicines: Betamethasone, Salicylic Acid and Zinc Oxide which treat eczema and psoriasis. Betamethasone is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Salicylic Acid is a keratolytic medicine which breaks down keratin clumps, removes dead skin cells and softens the skin. It also enhances the absorption of Betamethasone into the skin. Zinc Oxide has astringent and antiseptic action.
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.
