BI-Folate Mouth Ulcer Gel blocks chemicals in our brain that are responsible for pain sensation and inflammation. Therefore it provides relief from pain, discomfort and symptoms of inflammation such as redness, swelling or burning sensation due to mouth ulcers. This makes it easier for you to go about your daily activities. Continue using it as advised by the doctor to get maximum benefit.
BI-Folate Mouth Ulcer Gel is a combination of four medicines, used to treat mouth ulcers. It also reduces the pain, swelling, redness, and burning sensation of the ulcers. BI-Folate Mouth Ulcer Gel should be used as directed by your doctor and use it in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Apply it only in the mouth with clean hands. Do not use it more than the recommended dose.This medicine is generally safe and does not cause any side effects. However, if you experience any allergic reactions such as itching, swelling, rashes, etc., you should consult the doctor immediately.
Tannic Acid (5% w/v) + Choline Salicylate (8% w/v) + Cetrimide (0.01% w/v) + Lidocaine (2% w/v)
Treatment of Mouth ulcers
BI-Folate Mouth Ulcer Gel is a combination of antimicrobials and pain relievers. Tannic acid inhibits the growth of certain bacteria and the formation of dental plaque biofilm, protects the periodontal membrane, prevents the surface demineralization of enamel and promotes the re-mineralization of the enamel. Choline salicylate blocks the release of certain chemicals (prostaglandins) that cause pain and inflammation. Cetrimide works as an antiseptic. Lidocaine interrupts the transfer of pain signals from a wound to the brain.
Check the label for directions before use. Gently apply the gel to the affected area inside your mouth. Refrain from eating or drinking immediately after applying the gel.
