It also reduces inflammation symptoms such as burning sensation, irritation and pain. This promotes healing of burns and wounds. Keep the affected area clean and use the medicine as prescribed by your doctor.
Epiheal 0.2% Gel is an inorganic chemical with antiseptic activity. It is used for the prevention of infections in burns and wounds. On application, it releases silver ions into the skin which kills and prevents the growth of infectious microorganisms. Epiheal 0.2% Gel is for external use only. Use it in the exact dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. The affected area should be clean and dry before application. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying this medicine. Use the medicine regularly to get the most benefit from it. Do not use more than you need as it will not clear your condition faster and some side effects may be increased. If your condition does not get better or gets worse at any time, let your doctor know. You can help this medication work better by keeping the affected areas clean, making sure they are dry, and washing your hands before and after treating the infection.The medicine is well tolerated and does not usually have any common side effects. However, it may cause rashes in some people. Consult your doctor if you experience any other symptoms which you think are caused by the medicine. Avoid direct contact of the medicine with your eyes.
