It works by causing the skin to feel cool and then warm. These feelings on the skin distract you from feeling the pain. Lezaro Gel work best if they are used as the first signs of pain occur. Apply a thin layer of the medicine to the affected area no more than 3 to 4 times a day and rub in gently and thoroughly.
Lezaro Gel is a pain-relieving medicine. It is used to treat joint pain, neck pain, sprains, spasms, or any other pains. It works by blocking the release of certain chemicals that cause pain and inflammation. It also provides a cooling sensation to the affected area. Your doctor will explain how to use Lezaro Gel. In some people, it may cause application site reactions such as redness and swelling. These are usually mild and resolve with time. Diclofenac diethylamine and Methyl Salicylate are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) which work by blocking the release of chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Oleum lini contains essential fatty acids which further reduce swelling and improves blood circulation. Menthol produces a cooling effect on the skin. Menthol dilates the blood vessels causing a sensation of coldness, followed by an analgesic effect. Menthol also acts as a penetration enhancer, increasing the penetration of drugs when applied on the skin, to give a faster onset of action.
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the gel. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.
