Macugen 0.3mg Infusion is used in the treatment of eye condition called wet age-related macular degeneration. It reduces the abnormal growth of blood vessels in the eye. This decreases the chances of swelling as well as fluid and blood leakage that can cause vision loss. Macugen 0.3mg Infusion is administered directly into the eyeball by an eye specialist. You should not self administer this medicine at home. The common side effects include eye pain, redness, blurred or decreased vision and eye discharge.However, if you experience these side effects for a longer duration or any other symptoms which you think may be due to this medicine, please inform your doctor. It is not advised to drive after administration of this injection as you may feel sleepy or dizzy and your alertness may be reduced.
